Upgrading is the process of using an item, such as a sunstone, moonstone, or card on an equipable item (such as jewelry, armor, or weapons) to increase its effectiveness.
Sunstone Upgrading[]
Sunstones can be used to upgrade any of the following:
- Armor
- Non-Ultimate Weapons
- Shields
To upgrade any item that falls into the above category with a sunstone, double-click on the sunstone and then on the item you wish to upgrade. After a short time, the results of the upgrade will be shown: success or failure. If the upgrade fails, both the item and the sunstone are lost. When upgrading from +0 to +2, the upgrade cannot fail. When upgrading from +2 to +3, the upgrade can fail, but only the sunstone will be lost. After +3, the item will be lost if the upgrade fails. You can prevent the item from being lost by using a Scroll of Sprotect before upgrading. A Scroll of Smelting increases the chances of a successful upgrade on any item upgraded below +7.
Moonstone Upgrading[]
Moonstones can be used to upgrade any of the following:
To upgrade any item that falls into the above category other than suit piercing with a moonstone, double-click on the moonstone and then on the item you wish to upgrade.
